Let’s face it, we live in a fast-paced world. High speed this, quicker-than-the-speed-of-light that, oh and by the way…NOW!

There’s this amazing place in every town. Usually found at the main crossroads, been around for centuries. Folks, it’s the good ol’ post office otherwise known as snail mail. And I gotta tell ya, it’s kind of a neat place.
Where am I going with all this you ask? Because yes, I do have one. Folks, I present you with the Care Package.

You’ve heard of them, I’m sure. Maybe even been lucky enough to receive them. Now, it’s time to send them. Inspiration came from Ina Garten’s (Barefoot Contessa) story of how she began her kitchen experience by baking brownies for then boyfriend, now husband, and sending them off to him while he was away at school. Super sweet, right?! Thought so too!

Just about everything Garnish has to offer would be perfect for a care package. Our minds are racing with the possibilities but we’ve managed to reign ourselves in and give you an idea. Here we have a white rectangle bakery box, perfect for brownies or bars and a rounded take out container…which hmmm, is shaped just like cookies. We wanted to add a little garnish to our Garnish so thought, how about some ‘Fragile. Handle With Care’ stickers from the office supply store. Because you see, we love the unexpected and how fun does it look! Handle the package with care so you don’t end up with brownie crumbs. But you also want to handle with care so you’re not gobbling them all down at once!

Wouldn’t this be totally fun for a wedding shower or baby shower idea?! Talk about unique and wow. Have a treasured family recipe? Gather everyone in the kitchen and get baking. Or, if you have a favorite bakery get shopping. Doesn’t matter what the source, just send home the love with your guests and be sure to let everyone know to handle it with care.

Doesn’t take much to show how much you care. Just a quick trip to Main Street and a little Garnish!
