READING OPTIONS
There are two ways that you can read your Garnish Workbook:
- If you’re reading this post on your computer, you can simply open the issuu preview above! If for some reason you have any problems with the preview, you can also get Garnish in our issuu library, here.
- If you’d like your own PDF copy of the magazine to read on your computer, or on a mobile device such as a cellphone or iPad, or to print as single pages, you can download it here. Download times will vary depending on your internet speed.
- Finally, the printables link is embedded in the PDF, or you can download your printables here.
A few quick words of thanks before we let you get reading. First, thank you to Catherine Choquette, who contributed both her styling and photography skills (she works on this blog, too). Second, Michelle at A Girl Named Fred designed and edited the magazine and brought our vision to life once again. And Alexander Diaz makes another appearance, helping with styling and serving as our oh-so-suave model.
Don’t forget, we’d love to know what you think. Every blog comment, Facebook “like,” pin and tweet helps us get to know you better. We’re always looking for ways to help you bring a smile to the hearts of those you love… that’s what Garnish is all about. So don’t be shy, talk to us!
as always,
Garnish + Enjoy!

Do you have a birthday party, shower, pot luck or picnic on the horizon? Why not have some fun with confetti!
We glued some confetti onto our glassine bags and used them as cutlery pouches. So cute, right? Or what about sending some favors home in our burlap bags, decked out in confetti of course. We didn’t use any special tools here…just a hole punch to make our confetti and a glue stick to attach them. This is a perfect project for the kiddos to get involved in. So go ahead…have some fun with confetti!

We will admit, this is not our idea. We’ve seen a few of these types of favors floating around Pinterest and the internet. We think it’s a fantastic idea for a baby shower favor, so we decided to put our Garnish spin on it. If the mommy-to-be knows if she’s having a boy or a girl you can choose the appropriate color of nail polish for your favors. If she doesn’t, then you can put out a selection of both, maybe with a question mark on the label.
We used our small acetate boxes for this idea. They are the perfect size for a bottle of nail polish and some nail polish remover wipes (easily found at CVS or Target). We, of course, filled ours with some candy! Add some ribbon and a round label, and you’ve got yourself a super fun giveaway! Some other ideas might be to tie a nail file of top, or to add some of those solid colored M&M’s. If you are looking for some gender neutral colors of nail polish…what about a selection of gray (super in right now) and orange or even brown. Either way, we’re sure you will “nail” it! (sorry, that was cheesy….but we couldn’t help ourselves)

We are always on the lookout for unique favor ideas, whether it’s for a wedding, birthday or shower. This time, we’re thinking weddings, and we’re thinking it’s about time you went home with something you can actually use!
Everyone loves coffee, and it makes a unique and inexpensive favor. And, of course, it looks fab in our tie top bags, labelled with one of our scalloped stickers. “The Perfect Blend” is just thing to celebrate the happy couple!

Sometimes going simple is best. We were digging through our stamp stash and found this “thank you” stamp we’ve had for years (we purchased this at Paper Source. They no longer stock this one on their website, but they do have similar ones).
This simple stamp on our kraft rectangle box, makes such a chic statement for a party favor. We added some of our brown and white twine to finish it off. There are so many fun stamps available, and they are the perfect way to personalize any of our Garnish products.

Whether you are looking for a party favor, or just want to Garnish the everyday (our favorite!), tea and cookies is always a welcome gift.
We’ve made this one to go…all they need to do is add water. We’ve included a tea bag and two cookies in our glassine bag. Attach your treat and a spoon with some twine to our ripple cup. That’s all you need. Now, someone special can have a break at the office, or a fun treat when they get home.

There is nothing better than a nice cool bottle of lemonade. And spreading the sunshine is so much easier when you have some Garnish 8oz bottles on hand. Just add some handy drink packets…don’t forget a straw.
This is a great idea for any kind of party. Spread the love, spread the sunshine….all it takes is a little Garnish!

Here are the Mother’s Day ideas that we posted last year. We thought you would enjoy a little extra inspiration with this Mother’s Day brunch. Remember, this is also a great idea for a bridal or baby shower, or even just a lovely Sunday afternoon. Add some mint juleps, and you’ve got a get together for the Kentucky Derby this weekend!
It’s Got To Be 5 O’Clock Somewhere!
Just a note, the free printables that we offered last year with our Mother’s Day promotion are no longer available. Don’t worry, we will have something fun to offer you in the upcoming weeks!

We hope every one had a great Labor Day weekend! And speaking of labor…..here are some great pictures of a baby shower sent to us by one of our customers, Libba.
Libba used our large gable boxes to hold a yummy lunch for all the guests at her sister in law’s baby shower. She used our no soup for you containers, cello bags and glassine bags to package up all the food. We love her creativity with the labels and ribbon, to pull the whole look together. Oh Baby…what a great idea! Thanks for sharing Libba!
