Can you believe we are already in October?!  September just flew by and now Halloween is just around the corner.  This great idea from Dorangela, of Two Prince Bakery Theater, arrived in our inbox today.

How cute are these Halloween voodoo treats?  Well, they actually have nothing to do with voodoo, but we love the tags that Dorangela made for our burlap bags.  What a brilliant idea to add the felt hearts…so cute!  And if you’re not handy with the sewing needle, you can pick up embellishments like these from your craft store and use a glue gun.

Thank you for sharing Dorangela!

Here is a quick one sent to us by Tanya from Save the Date for Cupcakes.

These mini snow cone cupcakes are adorable!  We have to admit, we were fooled…we thought they were actually mini snow cones.  Tanya used our wooden demi tasse spoons for her creation.

Thanks for sharing Tanya!

We just received a very nice thank you from Beth (we LOVE to hear from you!).  She had ordered our no soup for you ripple bowls and wooden demi-tasse spoons for an ice cream social.  It’s National Ice Cream Month, so it’s perfect timing to show you her creation.

Seri, from Little Miss Party, sent us this link to an amazing bachelorette she threw for her sister.  The theme was based around the summer camp they used to spend summers at when they were kids.

We love the idea (and not just because she is a fellow Canadian gal transplanted to the US, like us)!  What made it even more appropriate for the day was that her sister’s fiancee proposed at that summer camp.  Thank you for sharing Seri…you can check out the full blog post here.

Seri used our wooden berry baskets and no soup for you containers.

We mentioned it on our Facebook page, but we are so excited, we wanted to share on our blog as well.  Our Garnish berry baskets were featured in a fantastic DIY in the April issue of Martha Stewart Living!

How adorable are these bunny carts?  And they look very simple to make.  If you don’t have the current issue, here is a link for the how-to from Martha’s website.  Easter is right around the corner…so time to start thinking bunnies, eggs and all things chocolate!

Garnish is featured at this birthday party in our small ripple cups, cutlery and paper bags.  We are always inspired by our customers’ creativity with their Garnishes, and this cowboy party is no different.  They even made toy horses for everyone to take home…amazing!  Check out Kelly Allison Photography’s blog for all the details…thanks so much for sharing!

We will admit it right of the top…we did not come up with this idea, unfortunately.  But, we did think it was the perfect thing to try and Garnish our own way.  Who doesn’t love french toast?  Just about everyone.  If you have an invitation to a holiday brunch, and would like to bring something special, why not try out Sweet Paul’s star french toast.  It’s soooo easy to make.

We baked ours in the large loaf pan, and it worked out brilliantly.  You could even make it look more special with a dusting of icing sugar. YUM!  Quite honestly, Garnish is about making the everyday special, so why not just make this for yourself!  Though our paper loaf pans are very sturdy, we wouldn’t recommend letting the bread soak longer than the two hours that the recipe calls for.  And, have you noticed that’s two posts in a row about breakfast…hmmm…maybe we should have breakfast for dinner in our house tonight!

Have you heard of Elf On The Shelf?  Do you do Elf On The Shelf with your children?  We have been seeing so many fun ideas with this little elf all over the internet.  So we were thrilled when Monica sent us her way to do Elf On The Shelf…

Monica used so many of our Garnish products….nut and party cups, paper straws, wooden cutlery, ripple cups and white cups.  Here is what she had to say…

Just wanted to let you know I loved the items I purchased from you site. I have two young kids and we are starting a new North Pole breakfast tradition for the morning after we trim our tree. Also a day to introduce our Elf on the Shelf. It was a success and super cute thanks to your products. We had a small cocoa bar, gingerbread muffins, pancakes, and homemade marshmallows. The kids especially loved the ripple cups! My daughter had four cups of cocoa :) Here are a couple of pictures of our table. Thanks again!

Monica

We are so happy that Garnish could play a part in a new tradition in your family.  We have always said that Garnish is about creating moments….this is truly what we’re all about!
