Aaaaahhh…. summertime, and the livin’ is easy!

We are so thrilled to issue the second edition of Garnish * The Magazine. This issue is chock-full of ideas to help you celebrate all the best that summer has to offer: long, lazy afternoons by the lake and hot, hazy nights. We were inspired to take it outside, and we think you will be, too!

And if it’s not summer where you live (helllooo to our friends in the Southern Hemisphere), don’t worry. You’ll find plenty of summer dreamin’ in these pages. Just think of how much fun you’ll have planning your start-of-summer bash!

WHAT YOU’LL FIND INSIDE:

  • Soak up Summer: We spent a fabulous afternoon lakeside at Villa Del Lago and we take you along for the ride! From menu ideas to summer sundries and sparklers on the dock, we’ve thought of everything you need to take it outside.
  • How’d They Do That?: We set aside our camera-shyness and filmed a short movie to show you how we styled our summer table two ways: backyard barbeque casual and summer chic. And yes, we used our “good” dishes.
  • Garnish Show-Me: We’ve added a new DIY feature to the magazine, and this issue, we show you three ways to create cutlery packs. And we’ve got a printable template for you! So basically, easier-than-pie.
  • I Scream..: Our greatest hits feature shines the spotlight on frozen treats. ‘Cause it’s summer. ‘Nuf said.
  • And as always, you’ll find our full product catalogue at the back, fully linked to our site.

Are you ready to get reading? Grab a coffee, or an iced tea (or a glass of wine, if that’s your style) and dig in:

We couldn’t be more thrilled with this little beauty joining our Garnish family. More importantly, we hope YOU all are just as excited! Our goal is to showcase a few ideas perfect for Spring, using our blank canvases.

Our big idea is pint-sized: the most adorable baby shower you ever did see. This idea won’t be featured on the blog – it’s exclusive to the magazine!

(Of course if a baby shower is not in your future, you know our ideas are adaptable to just about any occasion. That’s the beauty of Garnish!)

If you are viewing this on a mobile device, you won’t be able to preview the magazine (it’s Flash). No worries, we have a PDF download for you! Just click here for your own copy of garnish.

Please let us know what you think! We’d love to know what you’d like to see featured in future issues of the magazine (oh yes, we’ve got more of these beauties planned!).

Many thanks to Michelle at A Girl Named Fred for bringing this little nugget into the world.
