It doesn’t have to be a special occasion for you to feel special. This is a perfect example. We normally use our coffee machine for a quickie espresso in the morning. Well today, we thought we deserved a full on latte…and a cookie!
Our ripple cups definitely make this coffee break feel like an occasion (not to mention, it was really easy to steam some milk, so we will definitely be doing this again!). And just to be sure we don’t overindulge too much, we decided to pack up some of those peanut butter cookies in one of our cello bags to give to a friend. We like to think of it as paying it forward! It really is easy to celebrate the everyday…the Garnish way!
Garnish + Enjoy
p.s. even though we have about 50 fancy cookbooks, you can’t beat Joy Of Cooking for the basics. Find the peanut butter cookie recipe here. We tried using Truvia sweetener for baking in place of the white sugar, and it worked out great!

A few quick words of thanks before we let you get reading. First, thank you to Catherine Choquette, who contributed both her styling and photography skills (she works on this blog, too). Second, Michelle at A Girl Named Fred designed and edited the magazine and brought our vision to life once again. And Alexander Diaz makes another appearance, helping with styling and serving as our oh-so-suave model.
Don’t forget, we’d love to know what you think. Every blog comment, Facebook “like,” pin and tweet helps us get to know you better. We’re always looking for ways to help you bring a smile to the hearts of those you love… that’s what Garnish is all about. So don’t be shy, talk to us!
as always,
Garnish + Enjoy!

One of our Facebook friends sent along this picture of how she Garnished a Mother’s Day lunch. We LOVE it!

This just goes to show that you don’t have always have to think of a table as a traditional way to serve up some yummies. This idea of a pretty bookcase is so unique. And as long as the weather is nice, don’t be afraid to bring some of that furniture outdoors. It will definitely impress your friends and put a fun twist on your gathering! Thank you Karen for sharing with us!

Karen used our mini milk jug, berry baskets and our kraft ripple no soup for you containers.

Here are the Mother’s Day ideas that we posted last year. We thought you would enjoy a little extra inspiration with this Mother’s Day brunch. Remember, this is also a great idea for a bridal or baby shower, or even just a lovely Sunday afternoon. Add some mint juleps, and you’ve got a get together for the Kentucky Derby this weekend!
It’s Got To Be 5 O’Clock Somewhere!
Just a note, the free printables that we offered last year with our Mother’s Day promotion are no longer available. Don’t worry, we will have something fun to offer you in the upcoming weeks!

Happy Friday everyone! This week just flew by….can you believe it is almost May? Where does the time go?
We couldn’t let the week end without some more inspiration for Mother’s Day gifts. Today we are featuring our two drink carrier. Of course, it’s just not for “two drinks”…but for all kinds of goodies.
We have put some of Mom’s favorite magazines on one side, and a sweet snack and delicious drink, in our ripple cup, on the other. How perfect! Mom can take this to her favorite spot and have a “Mom Time Out”…the best kind!

Here is a Mother’s Day gift idea for those moms that like to cook! Who doesn’t love some fun colored spatulas? You can find them just about everywhere, and they are available at all price points, so they are affordable too.
How cute are they in our burlap bags? They are so handy for all sorts of gifts. We added some contrasting ribbon and a button from our button box. And if you want to add something else, this cookbook from Donna Hay is the perfect compliment!
