We love getting emails from our customers, showing us how they Garnish. (we also kinda love the compliments you throw our way too) So when we got this email from Christina of Something Chic, we wanted to show you a few of her pictures.
Christina used our french fry scoops and no soup for you containers for a vintage Mario Brothers party. You can check out more of Something Chic on their website. You will find lots of great inspiration! Thanks so much for sharing Christina.
If you would like to show us how you Garnish, send us an email at info[at]thinkgarnish.com

We saw this great idea on Pinterest and had to put our own Garnish spin on it. So here you go…
- 1. our squat gable box
- 2. animal crackers for when your classroom feels like a zoo (packaged in our glassine bag)
- 3. chewing gum to help you stick to it
- 4. crayons to color your day bright and cheerful (how fun are these that we found at Target!)
- 5. erasers to remind you everyone makes mistakes
- 6. lifesavers for when you’ve had one of those days (also packaged in our glassine bag)
- 7. Mounds bar for the mounds of confidence you give your students
We made a simple label on our computer that we jazzed up with some clipart we found online. Tie the whole thing up with ribbon and you’ve got the perfect gift for the teacher!

Little boys that is! They deserve to have a fun, boy themed party take away too. Whether you’re hoping to keep small hands busy, or just want to give a big thanks for coming to the party, we’ve got a cute idea for you.
Bulldozers, band-aids and scary dinosaurs are packaged up in our cardboard berry basket. Not only is it super sweet, it’s got a handle for easy carrying. Here’s a hint…to get the handles to stand perfectly upright, just use a hairdryer to heat them up a bit so you can shape them into place.

Is it the middle of May already?! Time to start thanking those men and women who spend all day with your children…their teachers.
We found this very cute apple scrub brush in the dollar bin, and it was the jumping off point for this fun gift. Along with a cute tea towel and mini size soap, we put in a well deserved gift card. And of course, we just had to use our new paper card sleeve and oval label to jazz it up. Our cardboard clamshell keeps everything where it should be on the bus ride to school. We think your child’s teacher will appreciate this one!
What do you like to give as a gift to the teacher? Do you have a go-to gift or an idea you’d like to share? Leave us a comment….we’d love to hear from you!

It doesn’t have to be a special occasion for you to feel special. This is a perfect example. We normally use our coffee machine for a quickie espresso in the morning. Well today, we thought we deserved a full on latte…and a cookie!
Our ripple cups definitely make this coffee break feel like an occasion (not to mention, it was really easy to steam some milk, so we will definitely be doing this again!). And just to be sure we don’t overindulge too much, we decided to pack up some of those peanut butter cookies in one of our cello bags to give to a friend. We like to think of it as paying it forward! It really is easy to celebrate the everyday…the Garnish way!

p.s. even though we have about 50 fancy cookbooks, you can’t beat Joy Of Cooking for the basics. Find the peanut butter cookie recipe here. We tried using Truvia sweetener for baking in place of the white sugar, and it worked out great!

We have lots of fun thinking of different ways you can use Garnish. We try to think “outside the box” and show that a berry basket just isn’t for berries, or our No Soup For You container just isn’t for soup! Today we have parties on the brain….
It’s hard to come up with new ideas for party favors, especially for the kiddos. While browsing the dollar bin at Target, we were struck with some fun ideas. How about sand toys? Target has some great colors, and they are only 99 cents each! So much better than candy, right? The perfect tote for these goodies is our two for the road drink carrier (see…it’s not just for drinks!) We added a tag that we printed off on the computer, some bubbles wrapped in patterned paper, and this favor is ready for the taking.
What do you like to give out as favors at your parties? Do you have a go to idea that you want to share? Tell us how you Garnish…we’d love to hear!

It’s May 1st ya’ll!! Can you believe it? Spring has definitely sprung in our neck of the woods, and the sunny weather is making us think we need to lose the burgers and think about some salads.
Our new oval bowl is just the right size for a lunch on the go. You can also purchase a lid so nothing spills out on your way to work. Don’t forget to keep a stash of our wooden cutlery for lunch at your desk, in the park…or, let’s face it, sometimes sitting in the car (not while driving of course!) Nod your head if you are trying to catch a quick bite between baseball, soccer and tennis! We love this new Garnish, and hope you do too.

We hope you are enjoying the new issue of Garnish – the magazine. We tried to pack it full of new ideas, and some new products. Did you have a chance to check them out?
How fun are these paper card sleeves! We like to call them Garnish For Your Garnish. They are the perfect add on to any of products, or pretty sweet just on their own. We are going to get creative and show you different ways to use them, but here is a simple idea….stamps! These sleeves are the right size for gift cards or a handwritten notes.
Next on our list are our new disposable serving bowls. We’ve got them in three different sizes. Here we are showing our 6oz bowl with a tasty snack of kettlecorn. Our 12oz bowl is a great size for fruit, soup, salad…well really, just about anything! Finally we have our oval serving bowl for which you can also purchase a lid. This one is perfect for a meal in a bowl, and you can take it to go. We are going to try out our version of a Chipotle burrito bowl…we’ll let you know how it turns out!

Do you have a birthday party, shower, pot luck or picnic on the horizon? Why not have some fun with confetti!
We glued some confetti onto our glassine bags and used them as cutlery pouches. So cute, right? Or what about sending some favors home in our burlap bags, decked out in confetti of course. We didn’t use any special tools here…just a hole punch to make our confetti and a glue stick to attach them. This is a perfect project for the kiddos to get involved in. So go ahead…have some fun with confetti!
