Last week we used some puffy paint on our french fry scoops…today we are showing you some Garnish’ed burlap bags.
Puffy paint is perfect for this project. It dries shiny and flexible so the bag is not stiff when you tie it up. Let your imagination go wild…flowers, stripes, chevron, polka dots…whatever is your favorite. You can use these as favor bags for a party, gift card holders or even to gift some pretty jewelry.

We have to confess, we love Easter Brunch! And it’s even better if you get to enjoy it by keeping little hands busy, right?
Why not leave the kiddos something fun to do while you savor that eggs benedict. A couple of fun and easy crafts (ie. don’t require parental supervision) in one of our french fry scoops is just the thing. Whether it’s some dollar store crafts and stickers, little puzzles or something fun to eat, the younger set will enjoy this special treat. We personalized these with some puffy paint…it is easy to write with and stays put. Now…go enjoy another mimosa on us

Easter gifts don’t always have to be about candy, so why not try something new this year.
How cute are these pencils in our clear candy tube? We also tied on some fun Easter erasers in our medium glassine bag. You can always find stuff like this in the dollar bin at Target or Michaels. Don’t forget to sharpen those pencils before you wrap them up…it makes it easier for everyone!

We are trying to think of ways to jazz up your Easter gifts…so today we added some glitter! This DIY was a lot of fun and pretty easy. Here are the details…
We used our white box for this one, the perfect blank canvas. First we drew our words in pencil on the box. We used block letters, so it was was simple. Just remember to draw lightly so the pencil won’t show through. If you’re not confidant in your penmanship, print something out on the computer and trace it on. Second, we used basic white craft glue and painted it on top of our drawn letters. It’s okay to go a little outside the lines on this step, it will help to cover up your pencil marks. Don’t skimp on the glue, you want to make sure your glitter sticks! We did one letter at a time, as we wanted to try out different colors. The final step is to sprinkle on your glitter. If you do it over a tray, you can be generous in your sprinkling and put the extra back in the bottle once you shake it off. Now all you have to do is fill your box with some fun Easter gifts!
We had a lot of fun with this DIY and we think we might use this idea in some future blog posts.

We just received an email from Tracey letting us know how she Garnish’ed our clear acetate box. She had a couple ideas, but we thought this one was pretty cool.

It’s already March, which means it is almost Spring (YAY!) and we’ve got a bunch of holidays coming up that could use a little Garnish! First up…St. Patrick’s Day.
It’s easy to do something quick and simple for this March 17th holiday. Whether you choose some cookies, four leaf clovers or lucky gold coins (of the chocolate variety), our kraft treat bags are the perfect package. We found these cute pins at Michaels. Not only do they hold your package closed, they are also a fun to wear! Maybe they are even lucky and will help you find the pot of gold…

Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday…a school day and a work day. Why not send your loves out the door with some heart!
We found the cutest paper hearts at Target. They were inexpensive and you get a ton in the package. If you can’t find something similar, just grab the construction paper or even some paper doilies, and you are good to go. We cut up our paper hearts and glued them onto one of our paper cups, adding the perfect polka dot straw to match of course! Or, why not package up lunch in our white box, and seal it with a pretty heart. We call it, love to go!
