We are thrilled that Tanya from Save The Date For Cupcakes chose to Garnish her post on Valentine’s Day for People.com! Check out these great pictures…
Tanya used our large push pops (genius with the mini cupcakes!) and dressed up our wooden demi-tasse spoon. You can check out Tanya’s blog here for tons of great ideas. Thank you so much for thinking of Garnish.

Sometimes it’s hard to think of a Valentine that is perfect for everyone is your child’s class. Goodness knows they will get tons of candy, so eliminate the sugar rush with something cute and practical.
How about these fun tissues. Great for girls or boys, and even teacher too! We have used our large glassine bag to package the tissues up extra special. Add some fun tape and twine, or how about a handwritten note from your child. Garnish is your blank canvas to make Valentine’s Day s-weeeet!

Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday…a school day and a work day. Why not send your loves out the door with some heart!
We found the cutest paper hearts at Target. They were inexpensive and you get a ton in the package. If you can’t find something similar, just grab the construction paper or even some paper doilies, and you are good to go. We cut up our paper hearts and glued them onto one of our paper cups, adding the perfect polka dot straw to match of course! Or, why not package up lunch in our white box, and seal it with a pretty heart. We call it, love to go!

Middle Bottom: Fancy up some of our paper straws with hearts. So easy! Check out the post here.

Yes, it’s hard to believe that January is almost over! (thankfully, as we are in a deep freeze here) That means it is time to think about what you’re going to give your valentine…
Here is a fun and quick idea for you. Rice Krispie Treats mini heart cakes. Rice Krispie Treats are just about the easiest thing to make. Here is a recipe for you. Make a large pan of squares and simply use three different sizes of heart cookie cutters to cut out your shapes. Stack them on top of each other. Next melt some red chocolate in the microwave and drizzled it on top. Finally, place into one of our small acetate boxes with some cinnamon hearts. We had this pretty ribbon that we found at our local craft store to complete our Valentine treat. Aren’t they cute? These would be adorable for your child’s class or your favorite co-workers.

Told you we were going to talk hearts this week! Cookies are always a welcome treat, and when they look like hearts, they are perfect for Valentine’s Day!
We used our glassine bags and some twine to package up theses yummies. If you are going to bring a bunch into school or to work (won’t you be popular with a basket of these on your desk!), why not stack them up inside our rectangular berry box. Heart cookies are definitely a sweet surprise!

I have a feeling that this week is going to be “heart” themed, as we’re getting close to Valentine’s Day! So here is our first post of “how to do a heart” for the special day. This one is super fun, and best of all, super easy! All you need is some construction paper (raid your child’s craft bin), some glue dots (or a glue stick, or tape if that’s all you have), a pair of scissors and some of our red stripe or polka dot straws.
Simply cut out a heart. Do it the old fashioned way by folding the paper in half…that’s the easiest way. Then put a glue dot on each corner of the heart, and simply slide in the straw. That’s it! You could add some stickers, or someone’s name. These would be really cute to give out in your child’s class as part of their valentines. Everyone will look adorable drinking their milk at lunchtime.
Stay tuned to see how we do a heart next time ♥

We’ve got another quick and easy idea for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day. Start their day off right with a fun drink in one of our ripple to go cups.
All you need to do is add some fun ribbon and stickers (easily found at your local craft store) to one of our new coffee cuffs. Tuck in a straw and you’re all set. Here’s another idea…instead of a drink, you could put a fruit salad, some oatmeal or even a pasta salad in our cup and tuck in a fork instead of a straw. So many possibilities!
