Whether you are looking for a party favor, or just want to Garnish the everyday (our favorite!), tea and cookies is always a welcome gift.
We’ve made this one to go…all they need to do is add water. We’ve included a tea bag and two cookies in our glassine bag. Attach your treat and a spoon with some twine to our ripple cup. That’s all you need. Now, someone special can have a break at the office, or a fun treat when they get home.

Here is our second post all about bags….Garnish ones that is! We are always looking for something different to send our guests home with, and we found these pizzelles at our local grocery store. They are the perfect treat, and wouldn’t you know…fit right into our cello bags!
Set some in the large loaf pan and put out a few of our new bamboo tongs. Then all you need to do is leave out some bags and twine. Your guests can do the rest…and that’s so much easier for you. Don’t you think? The question is, how many of these will be eaten on the car ride home?

Told you we were going to talk hearts this week! Cookies are always a welcome treat, and when they look like hearts, they are perfect for Valentine’s Day!
We used our glassine bags and some twine to package up theses yummies. If you are going to bring a bunch into school or to work (won’t you be popular with a basket of these on your desk!), why not stack them up inside our rectangular berry box. Heart cookies are definitely a sweet surprise!

It’s that time of year again….Jan 21, 2012 is the 6th annual Soup Swap Day, so it’s time to think up some creative recipes and get cooking. We were trying to think of a different take on the soup swap…and we have an idea. Instead of making several batches of soup, why not get a group together and draw names…you only swap with one person. Kind of like a secret santa type of deal. This is especially fun if you’ve been getting together with the same group of people for the last few years.
Then you can make your soup gift a little extra special…the Garnish way! Of course we have our container of soup in our large Contessa container, but we’ve also added some yummy bread sticks wrapped up in our tissue and tied up with a little twine. We included a pretty serving spoon and a tea towel, and placed it all inside our drink carrier. You can add one of our labels to personalize your gift. How fun is that!? Not only is this a good idea for Soup Sway Day, but it would also make a very welcome gift to a friend who might not be feeling so great. A warm bowl of soup always makes everything better!

Are you having guests over for a New Year’s Eve bash? Well instead of sending them home with something to eat…how about sending them home with something to nurse that hangover they might be feeling the next morning.
Your local drugstore or Target has a huge selection of travel size goodies that are just the right fit for our survival kit. We added some Advil, Tums, tissues and bottle of bloody mary mix to our small bio pack. We tied the whole thing up with twine and added a sticker. Your guest will definitely appreciate this gift in 2012!

Want a way to make your gift look extra special? Try a spoon….a demi-tasse spoon to be exact! Grab your rubber stamps or your trusty Sharpie, and you’re good to go.
We wrapped our white rectangle box in a piece of felt, some red and white twine and one or our demi-tasse spoons. Isn’t it fab? Honestly, when it looks this good, does it really matter what’s inside…we didn’t think so!

Looking for a quick and easy gift to bring to your next holiday party (Thanksgiving!). Here’s a thought, what about chocolate spoons? They are quick and easy to make. All you need to do is melt some chocolate and then dip some of our wooden spoons. Next lay them out to cool on some wax paper or pop them in the fridge.
We added a little something extra with the peppermint sprinkles. To make the spoons a bit more festive, we stamped the handles with some fun holiday sayings. You could also personalize them with names, like for your child’s teacher. Next, put them inside our small cello bag and tie them up with some twine. So easy!

There is never a bad time for cookies as far as we’re concerned. For instance, today is Monday….that’s a good enough reason! Why not surprise a co-worker, a teacher, the mail person or your next door neighbor with something sweet.
Our wooden serving boats fit perfectly into our large cello bags….just the thing for some cookies! Remember, you don’t have to have a special occasion to add some Garnish. Life is all about moments. Package up a moment, make someone smile and create a memory worth embracing. All it takes is a little Garnish!

We’ve always said, a Garnish item isn’t always what it seems. For instance…our wooden demi-tasse spoon. Sure, they’re for ice cream or for stirring your coffee, but they also makes a great gift tag!
How cute are these bags full of Halloween treats?! There is so much great, FREE, clipart on the internet. We just put our small kraft bags through the printer, and voila! Then we searched out our rubber stamps and personalized some spoons. Who knew you could use a regular hole punch to make a hole in the handle. And finally, tie the whole thing up with some of our black and white bakery twine. This idea would work great for the holidays, or a birthday party too.
Boo!
