Love Shack

A Valentine's Day activity for the young and old.  For the family to gather and do together.  A superb way to occupy little hands during a Valentine's Day party.  Gingerbread is for Christmas, cookie wafers are for Valentine's Day!

  • The supply list for a love shack - 5 cookie wafers for the front and 5 for the back, 3 for each side of the house, 6 for each side of the roof, 3 for each roof gable
  • We added a cross brace (cookie) on the back of each side of the roof for extra support and it also worked as a ledge to rest the roof on the house
  • Royal icing is the glue that holds it all together
  • The yard, chipboard container filled with candies
  • To transport the love shack and yard, a white take out bag affixed with something cute (used rub on letters)
  • To complete the neighborhood for the love shack, candies in small cellophane bags and in a clear candy tube (used rub on letters)

This is the house that everyone will love to build.  This is a Garnished event that everyone will enjoy!
